The short version: Teleprompter IQ does not collect your data. Speech recognition happens entirely on your device and is never sent to us, to Apple's servers, or anywhere else. There is no account, no login, and no server that stores your scripts or your voice.

The app contains no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, no crash-reporting SDK, and no third-party tracking framework of any kind.
Teleprompter IQ's core feature listens to your voice to follow along as you read, using Apple's on-device speech recognition. This is a deliberate technical choice, not just a policy: the app requires on-device processing and has no code path that sends audio to a server, ours or anyone else's. If on-device recognition is not available for your language on your device, voice tracking simply will not work for that language rather than falling back to server-based processing.
Nothing you say is recorded, saved, or transmitted at any point. Audio is processed transiently to match your speech against your script and is discarded immediately after.
Every script you write or import is stored in the app's private storage on your own device. If you enable iCloud sync between your own devices, your scripts are stored in your own private iCloud account — the same trust boundary as iCloud Drive or Photos — not on a server we operate or can access. Deleting a script, or deleting the app, removes it.
Teleprompter IQ is sold as a one-time paid download through the App Store, with no subscription and no in-app purchases. The transaction is handled entirely by Apple; we never see or receive your payment details. Apple's handling of your purchase is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy.
Teleprompter IQ makes no network requests of its own. The app does not fetch anything from a server and does not phone home in the background. (Apple's own App Store services, outside our control, may contact Apple to verify your purchase — standard for any paid App Store app.)
Teleprompter IQ is a general-purpose reading and presentation tool and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, of any age, because the app does not collect personal information at all.
Because we hold no data about you, there is nothing for us to export, correct, or delete on your behalf. You have complete control: delete any script from within the app at any time, or delete the app to remove everything immediately.
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
